Locking a shift
Right-click any assigned shift chip and select Lock to person. A locked shift is never moved or replaced by the solver, regardless of how many times you solve.
Dragging shifts
You can drag any shift chip to a different staff member on the same day. The editor checks whether the destination person is available and eligible for that role before allowing the drop.
Editing shift times
Right-click a shift chip and select Edit to change the start and end times for that specific assignment without affecting the underlying template. The assignment is automatically locked when you change the times.
Removing a shift
Right-click a shift chip and select Remove to delete that assignment. If the shift came from a requirement, an unassigned chip reappears in the Open shifts row.
